Trees for Georgia
Honor someone special with a memorial tree planted in Georgia’s forests—supporting reforestation across the Appalachian foothills and the Southeast. Native tree seedlings are planted in your honoree’s name to help restore treasured Georgia forests, including areas like the Chattahoochee–Oconee National Forests and other high-need public lands. These reforestation projects focus on rebuilding native ecosystems impacted by wildfire, storms, pests, and land-use change—helping restore healthy pine and hardwood forests, improve wildlife habitat, and protect vital watersheds across the region. At our current Evertrack planting site in Oak Park, Georgia, restoration efforts are already underway following wildfire impact. The site underwent salvage logging—a standard forestry practice used to remove damaged and dead trees while preparing the land for replanting. In early 2026, the area was reforested with native loblolly pine seedlings, helping to reestablish forest cover and support long-term ecosystem recovery. Each tree planted contributes to verified, real-world reforestation—helping rebuild resilient forests across Georgia. Whether you choose to plant a tree in memory, in honor, or to celebrate a meaningful milestone, your gift becomes part of a lasting environmental impact. Plant a tribute tree in Georgia and create a living legacy that grows year after year—helping restore the natural beauty of the Southeast for future generations.
